Technology is an integral part of our lives and in the future we know our environments will continue to be shaped by technology. Therefore as a school we want to ensure our children are best prepared for the future. In line with the National Curriculum 2014, our computing curriculum focuses on Digital Literacy (evaluating digital content and using technology safely and respectfully), using IT (using computer systems to store, retrieve and send information) and Computer Science (programming and understanding how digital systems work). Through these focuses we want children to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information.
Our intent will be met through regular and often weekly implementation of the curriculum by using a range of teaching resources.
