We support our children through the teaching of PSHE so that when they leave our school they are equipped with the skills and values needed to support them in the wider world. We work with children to learn about moral, social and cultural issues they may encounter. Through all our teaching the British values are promoted through the overarching aims and objectives of our curriculum. We provide our children with opportunities to learn about rights and responsibilities and appreciate what it means to be a member of a diverse society. Children also learn about how to be healthy and independent. Throughout their time at school children are encouraged to develop their independence, resilience and responsibilities so as they are able to contribute to school life and the wider community. As the concerns of society about mental health and well being are ever evolving, we intend to support our children in learning about healthy lifestyles and how relationships with others may affect this.

Using the PSHE Association we are continuously updated with how best to support our children and are able to access many excellent resources for teaching PSHE lessons.
