You can access Schools in Suffolk admission arrangements and how to apply for a school place on the link below or you can request a hard copy from the school office.
Whatfield Primary can only offer a set number of places in any one year and this number is called the planned admission number (PAN), which is based on a national formula for deciding how many children can go to a school, without causing overcrowding.
Our current PAN is 8 and school applications are processed and places are allocated by Admissions at Suffolk County Council. Sometimes there is flexibility between the school and the local authority. However, always remember to state a 1st, 2nd and 3rd option, then these options can be taken into consideration.
We welcome visits by prospective parents interested in viewing our school. We occasionally have open days and opportunities to visit the school prior to pupils starting with us.
Please feel free to contact us for further information, or to make an appointment. We look forward to hearing from you!
If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, then you will need to apply for a school place for academic year which starts in September 2025. An information from Suffolk County Council Admissions is included below.
Admission forms, information and procedures will be available during the autumn term from our school office. We also ensure that nursery settings are given admissions packs. Visits by prospective parents are most welcome.
