Welcome Letter from Head Teacher

Graded 'Outstanding' by SIAMS 2016

Graded 'Good' by Ofsted 2018

I hope our Website will give you a flavour of some of the exciting things we do here at Whatfield CEVCP School. We are proud to be a Church of England school which serves the community and is committed to helping all pupils achieve their best from whatever their starting points.   We believe that our small school is ‘like a small mustard seed, which is smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants’(Mark 4:30 (NIV).

As you can see from our calendar and photo's, pupils enjoy a range of amazing opportunities.  From travelling to London to meet Tim Peake, creating artworks for the cathedral, enjoying theatre visits or watching the birds around the school grounds there is always something of interest happening to enhance the pupils educational experiences. We are very much a 'small school with a can do approach' Ofsted.

If you would like to visit the school, myself or Mrs Clarke, Head of School, would be pleased to meet you. Please contact Mrs Bailey, the school secretary, on 01473 823 309 or email for a personal tour.
